Cabinet Making
Cabinetmaking is offered at the Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center provides excellent foundation skills for a career in cabinetmaking/furniture making. Through the use of hand and power tools as well as static machines such as wide belt sanders and table saws, students are given the opportunity to hone their hand skills, technical and creative abilities in preparation for possible employment for possible employment in this field.
This program is ideally suited to students who have an interest, aptitude and flair for working in the medium of wood and are enthusiastic about gaining skills that can ultimately lead to secure employment opportunities.
